Pastor Shay Bills

          Shay Bills, pastor, teacher, author, evangelist, inspirational figure, popular TV personality but most importantly, …anointed woman of God. Known for her profound and dynamic Bible teaching, she is the host of the local TV99 program Today with Shay and new program, Upper Room with Shay Bills. Her thought-provoking message transcends socioeconomic and denominational barriers and resonates among people from every walk of life.

          Bills’ is an imminent voice in the kingdom of God. Her walk in Christ mirrors her faith and because of it, lives are being transformed and empowered. Described by many as a powerhouse for the Lord, Bills’ is dedicated and sensitive to the voice of God to deliver a “right now” word to the believers. God has anointed her to preach the uncompromising Word of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to operate in the gifts of deliverance, laying on of hands, evangelism and teaching. She annually hosts “God’s Satisfied Woman Conference,” which brings in people from all over to a powerful experience that is unlike any other in NE Texas and SE Oklahoma. Her “Hallelujah,” is contagious as told by attendees at conferences, revivals, services and crusades nationally.

          Bills’ stepped out on faith in March 2008 as SEB Ministries and Enterprises and in 2010 founded Upper Room Bible Study Institute. Through teaching weekly Bible studies and traveling as an Evangelist, Bills’ was moved by the plight of those who Jesus called “the least of these” and deeply yearned to touch those most in need. In January 2013 with instructions from the Lord and manifested resources to purchase a building, Bills’ founded a church. As Senior Pastor of Upper Room Christian Center (URCC) in Paris, Texas, a non-denominational church with a multi-cultural mission whose membership and ministry reach is growing in Christ as the Lord purposed.  Her message and mandate through URCC is to equip saints with spiritual truths that empower lives.

          She is the author of “Is Your Ghost Holy” and “When Faith Fights.” With sales both nationally and internationally, her books resonate with readers seeking a closer walk in Christ and a more spirit filled life on earth. Her titles have hit the BCNN1 Best-Sellers list and St. Paul Press Best-Sellers list numerous times since publication.

          Shay Bills continues to be an inspiration to many and serves her community as a member of many civic organizations. She preaches to men and women behind prison walls through her affiliation with Men & Women of Word Prison Ministry in which thousands have been saved, delivered and set free as reported via testimonies to the ministry. A strong advocate of education, she holds a B.A. degree in English, a Masters degree in Education Administration and is currently seeking her Doctorate in Biblical Studies from Andersonville Seminary in Houston, Texas. She is a product of the Church of God in Christ by way of Elder Rondie Williams of Wayside COGIC in Texas and Christian Life Outreach Ministries of the Full Gospel Baptist Church affiliation by way of Pastor Carolyn Hicks in Oklahoma.  In addition, Bills’ is an entrepreneur at heart as a referring Real Estate agent with Century 21 Harvey Properties, owner of Lighthouse Learning Daycare Center in Hugo, Oklahoma, seasonal adjunct at Paris Junior College and president of SEB Ministries & Enterprises. Her husband, best friend, and greatest supporter is Terry Bills and together they pastor Upper Room Christian Center. They have four children Terrance, Braxton, Ariole and Jaxson.
